Family Camp

Family Camp is an annual retreat for the entire church to enjoy a time of teaching, fellowship, rest and fun. We worship together, sit around the fire, pray for one another, swim, play games and eat together. Many relationships are nurtured during this time away.

Our Sunday gathering on the 12th takes place at Lake Swan at the usual 10am time. A baptism will follow the Sunday Service. (See separate registration for Baptism)

Registration for family camp includes lodging, meals (Friday dinner through Sunday Lunch) and activities. The accommodations for larger families include bunk rooms that sleep up to 10 people and for smaller families, hotel-type rooms that accommodate up to 4 people. Linens, pillows and towels are provided. Meals are served cafeteria style. This includes a salad bar for lunch and dinner. There is the ability to accommodate some dietary restrictions with prior notice. Activities include lake swimming, boating, volleyball, gaga ball, archery, ping pong and game room.

What is Baptism?

One of the highlights at Family Camp is celebrating baptism. We will have baptisms at Lake Swan Camp on Sunday, October 12th. Baptism is both a glorious celebration as well as a step of obedience to Jesus as Lord.
If you or your child is interested in taking this step, please make plans to attend our teaching on What is Baptism? This teaching will take place Sunday, August 24th 9:00 - 9:45am in the 1-3rd grade children's ministry classroom. We will be looking to God's Word for things like: What is the meaning of baptism? Who should get baptized? How do I know if I am ready or my child is ready to be baptized? After the teaching, there will be a time for Q&A.

Casa de Esperanza

James 1:27 says, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." For this reason, we provide ongoing support to Casa de Esperanza orphanage in Bolivia.
